This contemporary necklace is an artisan-crafted piece of shell jewelry we acquired directly from the maker, Ventura Bailon. It’s made in the traditional style of Santo Domingo Pueblo. The large central clam shell medallion and bail has an intricate inlaid geometric design featuring rich red coral, turquoise, black onyx, and shell, with clam shell embellishments. The bold, substantial multi-strand necklace is crafted of natural stone heishi finished with a traditional-style tie.
