Even if you're a card-carrying skeptic, there's no denying the popularity of the Ouija Board's success. Here are a few facts:- Ouija outsold the game of Monopoly in its first full year of manufacturing.
- The triangular seeing eye is called a "planchette" .
- Charles Kennard, the creator of the alphanumeric layout, gave the board its name. He thought Ouija was the Egyptian word for luck, but when he found out his translation skills were incorrect, his Ouija board told him to keep the name, so "Ouija" it stayed.

When I was in grade school, I went to a slumber party and was introduced to the Ouija board. I came home and bothered my mother for weeks until she finally caved in and bought me a board. Once I got it home and set up Mom saw what it was and immediately made me return the Ouija board back to the store. It cost $30. - I remember.

So Lucky in Love is based on an old fortune telling advertisement that reminded me of soothsayers and Ouija boards. I changed it up a bit and renamed it "Dr. Jack's" Lucky Book (after my oldest) - just wear it and you will have love, luck and dreams!
